Trendy Fashions - Website Design
As a part of my virtual internship with Think Pacific, I was tasked with the design of a webpage for the Fijian fashion retailer Trendy Fashions.
The goal of the project was to create both a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution, that responded to the client’s needs, while also celebrating and showcasing their Fijian heritage.
Mobile Format of the Website
The aim for this project was to create a fully functional webpage for the client, which would create enough of an incentive for them to move into a dual approach for online sales, instead of sticking only to their already successful Facebook page. The design was kept relatively simple to allow the products to stand out more on the webpage, as the clothing is gorgeously vibrant. The colour palette was based around the existing pink shade of the logo, which was complemented by shades of green as well as the neutral tones.
The website design was completed fully within Shopify, with considerations made regarding the webpage domain and pricing on the website host plan. The final project submission also included a comprehensive video tutorial outlining some of the main features of the website, and instructions on editing the webpage itself, so that the website could be modified if needed.
